Using a purpose-built iTouch communications server and Palm PDA solution, Kapiti Cheese sales staff are now inputting, relaying and receiving information remotely. Unlike before, sales staff can now deal with the order at the customer's site, instead of calling it through later. And customer service personnel no longer have to re-enter the order back at the office.
Success:
The solution has considerably improved both the sales process and customer service. By keying in the orders only once the new system has not only increased efficiency, it has also reduced errors. Kapiti Cheese is very pleased with the results.
